1 comment:

  1. England still looked solid without Ferdinand at the back marshaling the defense. Ledley did a good job against the Americans in the 1-1 draw, dominating the aerial threat from crosses, but was slow to react when Ramsey tried to shoot.

Deserved to win, but let's give Robert a chance to straighten things up. He did well other than the blunder which presented USA their solitary goal. Capello should give him benefit of the doubt to prove himself worthy of his trust. Joe Hart did well in last season's campaign nonetheless he doesn't have much international experience. Definitely the one for England in the next big tournament, but now is not the time yet. James has worn out his welcome and trust by making too many a blunder to secure a place.

England still have what it takes to make it through the round. They have the flare and the composure. Fabio should sort out the best positions for Gerard and his partnership with Lampard in the midfield. Looking forward to their next match with enthusiasm.
